The War Room

I would encourage you to watch the movie called “The War Room” it teaches you about taking your battle plan against the enemy in prayer. We need to be watchful in who we fight, it’s not your husband, your child, your boss, your partner, who is attacking you.  When getting serious in The Prayer warfare battle we need to aim our defense and attack back at who is trying to fight you.

Bible teaches us in Ephesians 6. The need to daily put on the Armor of God.  Your weapon of defense is the sword, being the word of God. Even Jesus used this when being tempted in the desert by the devil. You need to know the word of God to quote back when going into prayer warfare.  

Below is a photo of my War Chart, make cards under headings of, Family, Friends, Healing, Salvation, ….. these are just a few to mention. Start adding Names under each heading of who you will be praying for. Then all round them start putting up scripture applicable to your warfare.

When praying scripture start praying it in the first degree, let’s take John 3:16 as an example.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have eternal live.  John 3:16. You now Pray this scripture by saying it this way:

Thank you, God, for giving Your one and only Son to die for me, and that by me believing in Him I will not perish but have eternal life.

By doing it this way, you’re confirming Gods word is true and applicable to you, see how quickly you will start to remember scripture by praying it this way.

When starting to pray with your Prayer chart you can use the short-term P.R.A.Y

(just as a guide line to begin with)

Praise – Give God the Glory he deserves by affirming your love and commitment to Him

Repentance – should you have sin you have not repented of, start by quoting it and asking God to forgive you.

Adoration -  Thanking God for who He is, what He is doing.

Yes and Amen, start quoting scripture and combining it into your prayer.

I cannot express the power of praying in this way, I have seen changes and answered prayers personally in my life. You must spend time in the word of God and in your prayer room. By building a relationship with God, you will soon see how much time can pass without you knowing the time you are spending in your war room.

God knows the desires of your heart and the hurt you are facing, so don’t hold back, be honest when taking to Him. There is Power in praying, and power in fighting the devil back with Gods spoken word.
